No universal version yet

Bought this app many months ago Still no iPad version.

Beautiful crashes

It is a very nicely designed app but any time a switch between parts of the body it crashes. I have to restart the app every time I want to study a different limb. If you fixed that youd have a five star app.

terrible

dont waste ur money. this app is brutal! wish i could get a refund

Dont Buy!

Looks cool. Absolute rubbish. The animation is why I bought it and its wrong or simply terrible. I too wish I could get a refund.

Garbage!

This app is total garbage. Incorrect, slow, stupid and I want my money back! Don’t buy it - its the worst!

Expected much more.

For one I expected these models to be viewable in 360°. For two this app could use MUCH more motion that it advertises. Image quality is kind of garbage and should be much finer so as to be able to easily discern the muscle fibre directions, for example. Not a complete waste, however. Thorough in what it does, and the developers had a great idea making sure the muscles were all layered properly, superficial to deep.

I wish I had this app when I was studying!!!!

User friendly and it helps me to teach my team about anatomy is a simply way and just a click away! Love it!

Great

I am physio and I love this app. It is very usuful in my practise. Thanks

A great resource for anatomy students

I love this app! Its packed with information, but every muscle group is organized and modeled in a logical, clear way. The animations helpfully put each muscle in context. You can quickly review the muscles in a single region of the body, or delve into details like a muscles origin and insertion points, related nerves, and nearby arteries. A stylish, impressive app!

Best musculature app I have found so far

Very impressive app. I love love love the layering feature. Its probably the best part. Being able to isolate individual muscles is great too. Artwork is very clean and pleasing to look at as well. Muscle groups are divided well and there is an index search if you want a specific muscle. Animations are a nice addition although sometimes the model is not articulated completely accurately. I.E. occipitals animation has the entire neck extending back at C7/T1 instead of C1/C2. If you were an absolute anatomy beginner, this might cause a little confusion, but otherwise its a very minor nitpick. This app is definitely worth the 25 bucks and I cant wait to use it to better explain muscle location/function to my clients!

Excellent resource

Thanks for this great app! This is really an excellent resource, and its the best of its kind that I have found. A must for anyone looking to learn the body.

Great app for medical students and anatomy nerds

Wish I had this app for gross anatomy when I was in school... Building up the muscles one layer at a time is really nice. Probably the best thing about the app is the quiz questions. They are really detailed and there are a ton of them! What a great way to study for exams/boards! Another great thing is seeing the movements of the muscles. Its one thing to look at a table in grays that describes it, but its another to see the movement. It really helped the memorization process. If youre an i-nerd like me and youre looking for another great supplement to your anatomy studying, look no further.

Great tool for LMTs!

For a Licensed Massage Therapist this is a great tool. I use it for quick reference and refresher. I wish I had this in massage school because the quizzes are wonderful as well! Best myology app out there.

finally

As a LMT and PT I have to continuously go back and review human anatomy. My clients want to enhance certain features or heal others and this app has been endlessly helpful. It is amazing how fast one can forget specifics muscles, movements and actions. This app is the best material I have encountered in all my studies. The visual information as well as the text make the learning process as simple as could be. I am recommending this app to every LMT, PT and all other people interested in learning anatomy or refreshing their skills.

Almost there now, just add views

Pros: Well rendered 3D muscles and skeleton Good overall navigation Isolation views with colored origin/ insertion points Decent animation of movement. Not stellar but still pretty great feature. Cons: Missing muscles, particularly deeper groups in torso LIMITED VIEWS. This is a big one. Mainly you get anterior and posterior views with only a few lateral and NO medial views. Really poor. Price is a bit high. 3D4 medical has a similar app that is $9.99 and it has more views though no animation and worse navigation.

Has some errors

This is pretty good for learning OIAN, but there are errors, such as listing the dorsal surface of the 5th metatarsal as the insertion for the peroneus longus and a couple others. If $ are not an issue then this is an okay app.

Without more views its marginal at best

Great but needs work

While I love the features this app provides it could use some work. For instance, there are multiple things that have incorrect information. For instance the Teres minor muscle is innervated by the axillary nerve, not the lower subscapular like it says...that would be the teres major. Attachments of certain muscles are also incorrect. Besides the negatives, the app provides insight into the motions that the muscles deliver which is key to understanding anatomy. However, sometimes the app freezes in one motion and wil not change unless I turn off and then turn on my iPAD again. Please review this, this could be the best anatomy app.

Anatomy in Motion

The Anatomy in Motion app is spectacular! Wish I had it while I was in school...it would have been most helpful. I am a LMT and a Reflexologist and this app will be my go to when I need a quick review or when educating clients about their muscles. I know I will be referring to this often! A most useful reference. Thank you for your brilliance!
