Kcq

Im at mt studying to become a CPt, this app has been great for studying actions and origins and insertions. Love the quizzes too!

Does not work!

The app does not work, even thought my iPad is running a higher iOS than the developer cites in the description. After numerous reboots and reinstalls - the app still does not work. Buyer beware....

Very good app.

Needs to be able to rotate and more control over the zoom. An audible pronunciation would also be helpful.

Incomplete

For an expensive app, it is missing several important muscle groups- including the entire pelvic floor! Also test questions are very redundant. Im not thrilled

Great app

Ive been using the app for a couple of months now. I love taking the tests so that I can reinforce what I already know and also learn. I love being able to see how the muscles are layered as it gives a great deal of perspective.

Be careful!

This App is awesome. But the description on the $2.99 one doesnt mention that it is only of he anterior and posterior shoulder. The full App is $23.99 and while it really is amazing, it is misleading that it doesnt state that very clearly in the description. Studying the muscles is not easy and this App really does help with flashcards that have interactive pictures that allow you to see the muscle in relation to its muscle group as well as by itself. The flash cards even have pictures that illustrate what the muscle is used for and the definitions have insertion, origin, and joints if they apply. There are also quizzes. I recommend it but dont appreciate being roped into something that ended up costing me more $$$ than I wouldve spent with more explanation.

Professional no!

I was very surprised when noticed mistake in this app. For example splenius cervicis origin of spinous process of C3-T3? Is it should be T3-T6? Also mm of Suboccipitals group are not listed separately as recuses & obliques. And I can write more and more... WOW! Is that really pro? Would like to return this app for full refund, please. Thank you. Liubov Mozolevskaya

Excellent resource for professionals and students

I have been a practicing acupuncture physician for 10 years, and I purchased this app to serve as an anatomy refresher for myself. I was pleasantly surprised with the detailed information, clear pictures that illustrate the layering of the muscles, and the animated illustration of the muscle actions. The majority of my practice is treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. I have found that patients are very receptive and appreciative to be able to have a visual of where their pain or injury is located, but most printed muscle charts are unclear and text books are clumsy. It is so convenient to bring my iPad into the treatment room and use this app to show the patient exactly where their health challenge is, anatomically speaking, and the sort of movements that may aggravate it. Being a total anatomy nerd, I did notice one little mistake on the origin of the splenius cervicis muscle so I contacted the app developer about this. To my surprise, I received an expeditious response, and they have already submitted the correction of the error to Apple iTunes. Not only is this app an excellent resource for both students and professionals, it is run by a company with responsible business practices. I am very impressed and highly recommend it!

A great guide and study reference

I am a massage therapy student using this app for study, and eventually for client guidance. So far, the app has been extremely valuable. The app designers are very open to suggestion, and are dedicated to ongoing support. I look forward to updates to the app. As it becomes more complex and adds new views, this app is becoming an indispensable tool for professionals directly concerned with the muscular system. Keep up the good work and the updates!!!

Great app

Yes this is a very easy to use app. I really like the visuals for the muscle actions. Definitely worth every penny.

Stellar App!!!

I use this app and the iPad to teach students in Massage School. The graphics are high quality and the material is presented well, a great purchase, well worth the money, and an awesome investment in education and understanding your body!!! With gratitude, BMM

Good but could be better

The main view of muscles does not rotate. You only get the one view. The video of action is great, as is the written information.

Disappointing

This app is so disappointing. I had it on my iPad for exactly 5 minutes. I found it difficult to navigate and clumsy. It is not intuitive. The graphics are not great. Resolution is low on Retina Display. It is just plain awful. I cant justify $24 for this app. I requested a refund immediately. Rather spend your money on Essential Anatomy 2 (by 3D4Medical). It is a lot more interactive and intuitive. I use Essential Anatomy and iMuscle (also by 3D4Medical) together.

Overpriced, want my money back

This app is way overpriced for the amount of information it yields. I found apps for $3.99 with much more info on the musculoskeletal system. I want my $24 back

Not worth the cost

The information is all there, but using the app is not intuitive and not very helpful based on the layout. If it were half the price I would give it more stars for the content but the usability for this cost is very lacking.

Not worth the money

Wish I had thought through this purchase before spending 25.00 for this app. No bells and whistles. Basic, no 360, not worth the money.

Lmt

This is a total waste of money. I am so sorry I bought this!
